Man fights for life after being hit by a taxi in Keele
A 23-YEAR-OLD man is fighting for life after being hit by a car in the early hours of Saturday morning.
The youngster, from the Madeley area, was accidentally struck by a taxi near the Gallowstree roundabout in Keele.
He remains in the University Hospital of North Staffordshire where he was taken for critical injuries to his head and pelvis.
The accident happened near the newly designed roundabout at 2.10am.
It is now being investigated by the force's Collision Investigation Unit (CIU).
