Man dies after stabbing in Crewe

A 26-YEAR-OLD man has died after being stabbed in the street.

Police were called to Wistaston Road in Crewe on Friday evening after a man was found with a stab wound at roughly 7.25pm.

Two men, both in their twenties, were arrested later that evening and are continuing to help police with their enquiries.

The injured man, who is from Crewe, was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire. He died this afternoon. His family have also been informed.

Now police are appealing for witnesses to come forward.
