A MAN suffered a suspected broken jaw in a crash.

Staffordshire Police officers were called to Weston Coyney Road, Longton, at 5.20pm yesterday following reports that two cars had collided.

Police are investigating whether the man had been wearing a seatbelt as it is believed he was injured when his head hit the windscreen or steering wheel. A woman driving the other car was not injured, although her vehicle was damaged in the collision.

“As "the woman driving the other car" I would like to say that I was injured too, suffering chest and leg injuries. I would like to thank the witnesses who stood out in the freezing weather conditions to give their statements to the police.”
