Man airlifted after four vehicle Stafford crash

A MAN has been airlifted to hospital after a four vehicle crash in Stafford this morning.

The man, who is believed to be in his 40’s, was one of four people injured following the crash, which happened just before 10am on Newport Road.

“When crews arrived they found a man in his forties in a state of collapse at the wheel of his car," said a West Midlands Ambulance spokesman.

Three other people were treated for minor injuries at the scene but did not require hospital treatment.
