Man, 94, robbed at home
POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a 94-year-old man was attacked and robbed in his home.
Two white males – one believed to be in his mid 20s – knocked on the door of the man's Norton home at 7.30pm on Sunday.
When the pensioner answered, one of the men forced his way into the house, stealing a large quantity of Royal Doulton figurines.
Detective Constable Pat Molloy, of Hanley CID, said: “This was a disgusting attack and we are keen to hear from anyone who knows anything.”
