GARDENERS can learn how to inject colour at their homes by creating summer hanging baskets.

Staff at Bridgemere Nursery and Garden World, near Nantwich, on the A51, are hosting free planting demonstrations on Saturdays and Sundays.

The sessions run from March 27 until April 18, and are aimed at anyone who is interested in making their own hanging baskets.

And horticulture manager Jonathan Tew said: "We have lots of plants to give colour all through the summer including petunias, fuchsias and lobelia."

The demonstrations will take place in the seasonal plant house at Bridgemere every Saturday and Sunday at 12pm and 3pm.
