REGARDING the article "Under fire MP wins support in her constituency", The Sentinel, Monday, May 25.

May I say that Charlotte Atkins will not get that support from people in the Werrington area as she has not done anything for Werrington.

I am disgusted with all the MPs who have abused the expenses system. Staffordshire Moorlands MPs always come top of the list for claiming expenses. She is claiming £87,702 - she should be ashamed of herself when she knows what is going on in this country with over 2,000,000 people out of work.

Large numbers cannot get jobs and she is asking people like these to pay her claim. There is also people who have lost thousands of pounds, they will not be able to get back.

Charlotte Atkins, I would like to ask you this question - what do you think about people who are struggling to make ends meet? I pay my Council Tax and I have to pay my bills.

At the end of the day I have nothing left to have a holiday. I will not be able to pay my bills if prices keep going up all the time. I had a shock when I had my water bill and saw how much that has gone up and I do not use much water.

I disagree with what has been said - that Charlotte Atkins has done an excellent job across the constituency is not the case.

It has come to the time that Gordon Brown should call an election so the people can go to the polls and decide if he is fit enough to run the country.

Let's get all of these MPs out who have abused the expenses system.
