Logic is alien to council leaders
I URGE those who do not believe there is life on other planets, to think again. Our council has come from one, left one of their spaceships on Lichfield Street car park and called it a bus station.
To add insult to injury they now plan to close yet another car park to create a, 'pretty seating area to attract visitors'.
They are not as intelligent as us Earth people, otherwise they would realise that the only visitors it will attract will be yobs, drunks and druggies. I can see it now, littered with bottles and fast-food containers, etc.
As for the scatterbrained idea of moving the Civic Centre to Hanley, that is the icing on the cake.

Why should we put up with potholes, ungritted roads, closure of care homes, community centres and more, so these aliens can spend millions of pounds on something not needed?
Is there something wrong with the present one? Is it falling down, causing an obstruction, or is it just because they fancy sitting in nice new offices, plotting what to waste our money on next?
They may want to play silly games but most people in Stoke-on-Trent don't.
