Live life dangerously at Trentham
YOUNGSTERS can learn survival skills from The Dangerous Book for Boys at Trentham Gardens.
The estate has joined forces with the award winning book to run a series of outdoor events for children this summer.
It is a worldwide bestseller which details adventurous pastimes for boys and now Trentham is bringing the book to life with activities running every weekend throughout the summer holidays from July 25 to August 30.
Set in the gardens and woodlands at Trentham, the activities will be interactive and hands-on, teaching survival skills and how to live with nature.
Participants will learn how to make shelters, build and light fires without matches, and practice the art of crafting tools and bowls.
Everyone aged eight or over can join in and girls are welcome. Participants can come along on any Saturday or Sunday for the events which run from 10am.
The events are free when tickets are purchased or annual tickets are used for entry.
