Litter blamed on taxi drivers
CITY councillor Bagh Ali is campaigning to stop taxi drivers from littering the streets.
Councillor Ali, who represents Lightwood North and Normacot, told residents he would speak with the drivers in their area about the problem

"I think we have to be brave enough to report these people to the city council and make a note of their licence plate."
Residents have submitted complaints that the streets in the area were regularly littered with unwanted food and packets.
Mr Ali added: "These people are so lazy that they can't be bothered to use the bins."
