Lee Shaw sentenced to life imprisonment for Bentilee street murder
KILLER Lee Shaw has today been sentenced to life imprisonment for the murder of a man in a violent street attack.
Shaw, of Community Drive, Smallthorne, stabbed Dalbagh Singh Malhi to death in Bentilee in the early hours of May 13 last year.

Twenty-nine-year-old Mr Malhi, who was known as Bugsy, suffered multiple stab wounds and died from a 13cm wound to the chest.
Shaw denied murder, claiming he was acting in self defence, but following a two-week trial at Stafford Crown Court, a jury took just three hours to find him guilty yesterday.

“Ive had my comment removed, I don't know why, all I said was anyone caught carrying a knife should get a 10 yr mandatory sentence even if they haven't used it.
And 25 on top if they have and killed, so this guy should have a 35 yr sentence, no parole.
If the Judicial system made the law stricter it would stop mindless morons from carrying offence weapons, and the street "might" be a safer place to walk.”
