WORRY: News that hunt supporters are supporting the Conservatives in key marginal seats is worrying. Former hunter, David Cameron, wants to repeal the Hunting Act.

Hunters claim the animals they hunt are pests. They are wrong. Foxes help arable farmers by catching rabbits, voles and mice. Regarding any supposed threat to livestock, a Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries report in 1983 studied an area of Powys stocked with 3,500 lambing ewes and found "lamb losses were unaffected by foxes present in the area".

People who hunt do so for one reason: the sick pleasure derived from chasing an animal to exhaustion before seeing it ripped to shreds.

The Labour Party has improved animal welfare. Unlike the Conservatives, it cares deeply about animal welfare.

“Rest assured I won't be voting FOR Labour in this election I will be voting AGAINST the Tories, and it has little or nothing to do with a bunch of hooray Henrys on horseback running around the countryside with a pack of dogs just to tear a fox apart, although it can be added to the list, No I have a very GOOD memory and I clearly remember what a "wonderful" time the lower paid working class, and the THREE MILLION unemployed had the LAST time "that" lot were in power, Am I happy with Labour? NO! do I want the Tories back? yeah, on the same day the devil ice skates to work,”

“Animal rights/welfare may not be much to spend my vote on Andy, but it sure beats a reduction in inheritance tax!”

“I too hate any form of animal cruelty and do not consider it as "sport".
That aside, if this is the only reason to vote for Labour, then what a sad state of affairs for the current government.
Is this how desperate Labour supporters are?”
