Two Ladies who met through a social networking site. Got together to create a calendar girl style military calendar. In aid of Sots "Soldiers off the Streets"They used local places of interest to take pictures for this calendar . Including Cheddleton Station and the Black Lion at Consall Forge . As well as places in Devon.

The ladies who make up the Calendar are all friends of Jackie Swarbrick-Silver, the instigator of the calendar. Jackie used to work with homeless people in Exeter, and was surprised and saddened by the number of ex-service personnel who came through the door, all with their own stories to tell...or not. Jackie became aware of the charity Soldiers off the Street, who have outreach vans and actually go and find ex-servicemen and women who are homeless and help them, not only with housing but also with many other issues they have. Jackie was impressed with the organisation and offered to create a 'military pin up' calendar to sell to raise funds for them. She then asked like minded friends if they would like to feature in the calendar, and it all went from there. Jackie's husband Scott, and John Taylor (husband of Chrissy, one of the Dumplings) have taken all the photographs.
