Knife-wielding robbers jailed
TWO men have been jailed for five years and four months after they robbed a shop worker at knifepoint.
Lee Smith and Terry Keating went into the Co-op Late Shop in Wimbourne Avenue, Blurton, on February 24 wearing hoodies.
They then robbed cashier Lee Radford of £300 from the till and told customers to kneel down.
The pair then made off with a case of beer worth £12.

Smith, aged 28, and Keating, aged 29, from Liverpool, both pleaded guilty yesterday to robbery and having an offensive weapon.
Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court heard the pair were in the Potteries visiting Smith's relatives.
Jailing the defendants, Judge Granville Styler said: "This was a serious robbery offence.
"It was a terrifying experience for everyone in the shop including the person serving.
"But you also terrified customers who were made to kneel on the floor at knifepoint."
