Kings of the tribute act stage show on home turf
TOP tribute act Kings Ov Leon hope to repeat the success of last year's sell-out gig when they play at The Victoria Hall later this month.
As a result of that show, which was performed in front of a packed house, the band signed a deal with live entertainment promoters Handshake.
It's a deal which promises to bring international dates for the Stoke-on-Trent group as Ant Wheeler, Mark Eyden, Dean Lanza and Dan Eyden hope to cash in on the worldwide popularity of their Nashville namesakes.
Although the four have been playing together in various bands for the past 10 years, it is only with their current act that they've attracted wider interest.
Along with their return to the Victoria Hall on Friday, March 26, the group have gone on to book a series of May dates in Scotland.
"If we get the same response as last year, it will be brilliant," says manager Joe Lanza. "The boys are spookily close to the real thing and the feedback that we got from the audience was amazing."
Kings Ov Leon, supported by Bleached Wail, play at The Victoria Hall on Friday, March 26 from 7pm. Tickets cost £12.50 from Music Mania on 01782 206000.
