Killer's claims are so pathetic
I READ with absolute horror the story of Josef Cupori and what he did to his poor mother, ('Face of murderer who put mother's body in the bin', Sentinel, August 14).
He claims he was mentally ill at the time and denied murder. How pathetic.
It seems immigrant crimes are now becoming a regular read in the newspapers, as only a few days ago The Sentinel reported on the case of Marcin Szwedek, a Polish rapist who had been sentenced at Liverpool Crown Court to 16 years' imprisonment, after subjecting his victim to a seven-hour ordeal.
No matter how long a term he serves, it will not be enough for what he did to the young lady.

Just how much are people like this costing the British taxpayer at a time when so many other services are suffering cost cuts?
The Human Rights Act is to blame, together with Tony Blair's 'open door' policy.
All criminals should immediately be sent back to their own country to stand trial, conviction and imprisonment.

“You could argue that anyone who could do something like this must be mentally ill.”
