Jobs on offer at transformed pottery factory
TWO jobs are up for grabs at an historic pottery undergoing a multi-million pound regeneration.
The Prince's Regeneration Trust (PRT) is looking for a visitor services manager and a site manager/clerk of works for Middleport Pottery.
The PRT bought the Grade II*-listed Victorian factory, which is home to Burleigh-maker Burgess, Dorling and Leigh, last year. It is currently being transformed to create a new visitor centre and space for local craft businesses.
Claire Thomas, managing director of Brampton Recruitment, in Newcastle, which has been tasked with filling the roles, said: "These are vital positions and the successful candidates will play significant roles at a major Potteries heritage site which has national significance."
