Jailbreak at Hanley market
Hi,
Hanley market has chosen their National Market Day (as part of love your local market fortnight), to be Saturday 30 June, and are holding a variety of fun activities including a sponsored 'Jailbreak'.
Handcuffed pairs of volunteers (including market traders, Rob Nixon - markets manager, Charlotte Emery - market officer) dressed as villains and heroes will be taken from Hanley market at around 8.30am (Lord Mayor to set them off) to an unknown destination (within 50 miles), they will then have to make their way back to the market without using a phone or cash. The first pair back gets a prize, the last to return will be 'gunged'.

Britains Got Talent act, Faces of Disco are performing throughout the day, Pottermus is attending, there will be a gunge tank, stocks, disco, , and there will a variety of stall attractions such as Stoke-on-Trent's Scalextric racing, tombola, nail art, guess the number of sweets etc. It's going to be alot of messy fun. All money raised will go to Macmillan Cancer Support.
