POLICE have completed their investigation into the death of a man found lying by the A50.

Michael Hutchinson, aged 42, was discovered under a bridge between Draycott and Uttoxeter on September 19.

Police said his death was not suspicious but launched an appeal for help piecing together his last movements.

They believed Mr Hutchinson, who last lived in Edensor Terrace in Longton, had been sleeping rough.

Detectives said not many people had come forward following the appeal. They have completed a report on Mr Hutchinson's death which has been sent to the coroner. An inquest will now be scheduled.

A police spokesman said: "A report has been submitted to HM Coroner but police would still welcome anyone with any information regarding Mr Hutchinson to come forward."

Anyone with information can contact police on 0300 123 4455.
