SENIOR officials at Staffordshire's biggest hospital were due to attend a public meeting today to answer patients' concerns.

University Hospital of North Staffordshire chairman John MacDonald and chief nurse Liz Rix were among the officials invited to today's meeting.

It was organised by North Staffordshire Pensioners' Convention (NSPC) to discuss the hospital's performance since the group published a report into care levels three years ago.

The meeting was being held at Hanley's Forum Theatre in Bethesda Street.
