AUDLEY: Villagers are being told to hide their wheelie bins – to stop them being stolen and set on fire.

Young arsonists have been snatching the bins and taking them to woods where they are set alight.

Residents in Church Street have already fallen victim to the bin thieves.

Five youths are thought to be at the centre of the arson attacks.

“The absolute loons, send them on a fire awareness course, one pr*tt of a firemen suggested that the little darlings could probably have "little" fires around Castle Hill area, advice given as explained by said pr*tt to engender some modicum of responsibility in the youth of the village.

Perhaps the Sentinel would like to send a reporter and photographer up to witness the weekly riot we have to endure in Audley on a Friday night, last Friday 7 Police Cars, 2 black Marias and 2 police dog handlers, one restaurant attacked, windows and the Bus shelter smashed one youth threatening officers with a broken bottle allegedly, I did not see it myself though, 70 to 80 youths with attendant amazonian hang ups screaming and shouting, and to top it all fires in dustbins. In the past few weeks we have had pitched battles with rockets being fired at each other, cr*p aiming abilities displayed we have had the assault of stones on an early Norman Church. A remembrance day with a churchyard full of broken bottles and cans plus burnt out bins and human excrement behind grave stones, and we get the epitome of solutions, 4 lads lectured on a "fire awareness" course.

Even the local Councillor was succinct in his criticism of the relentless attack on the church and surrounding churchyard, he was not bothered, its a Christian bone yard, he being Pagan, well enough said. The police have come up with the best though a request for people to stop asking for incident numbers when they ring 101, (darlings), complainants are co*king up the crime statistics for the area. Such is life,we need a Chief Superintendent with enough bottle to issue a Section 30 order under the auspices of the Anti Social Behaviour Act 2003, I will no doubt be waiting a long time for that, tat is unless they set fire to the church.”

“I wonder if Mr Tideswell will be changing the approach of the police in matters like this?”

“A Fire Awareness course, I see it now, 'Fire, yes, its very very hot and it hurts people and it might just kill them or at the least destroy stuff. Now, don't do it , you bad boys."”

“Unbelievable. They know who's doing it and they send them on a 'fire awareness' course instead of putting them in court for endangering lives and destroying property; and the residents have to hide their bins because they know perfectly well it won't stop the arsonists for a second.”
