FITNESS fanatics have been set a fund-raising challenge.

The Donna Louise Children's Hospice Trust is looking for people to take part in a series of events to help support seriously-ill children.

They include running the Stafford Half-Marathon, abseiling down a building and competing for the quickest time to swim 20 lengths.

Other elements include seeing who can row the furthest on a rowing machine in 30 minutes.

Everyone who takes part will be asked to raise sponsorship money.

The tasks take place over nine weeks starting with the half-marathon on March 21.
