Heavy snow set to hit North Staffordshire, forecasters warn
HEAVY snow is set to hit North Staffordshire overnight, forecasters have warned.
An amber weather warning has been issued by the Met Office for the region ahead of snowfall expected during the early hours of tomorrow morning.

Heavy and persistent snow is then likely to continue throughout Friday morning, with the prediction of severe disruption, particularly to transport, during the morning rush hour.
Up to 40 centimetres (almost 16 inches) could fall on high ground, with as much as 15 centimetres (almost six inches) predicted for lower levels.
