Hard-hitting campaign hammers home alcohol danger message
HARD-HITTING CAMPAIGN: Shoppers had the chance to learn about the impact cheap alcohol can have as part of a major new campaign.
The Cheshire and Warrington Health and Wellbeing Commission set up a display at the Market Shopping Centre, in Victoria Street, Crewe, yesterday morning. The group reconstructed a hospital's accident and emergency ward in the centre and had actors playing out the roles of drunks.

A spokesman for the organisation said: "The idea was to show how alcohol can be a drain on public services, families, neighbourhoods and jobs."
