Halloween and Bonfire Night: Staffordshire Police promise Special Constabulary presence
STAFFORDSHIRE Police has promised a Special Constabulary presence across the county on Halloween and Bonfire Night.
As part of a drive, being dubbed ‘All Out’, Special officers will be in their communities tackling anti-social behaviour and under-age drinking in crime ‘hot spot’ areas on both nights.
Assistant Chief Constable Julian Blazeby said: “Specials make an extremely valuable contribution to keeping our communities safe on a daily basis across the county and Stoke-on-Trent and the wider region.
“They play a very important role in supporting full-time officers and are a key part of the policing family.
