Great writer was won over by Bible
THE recent letters from Mike Cope (January 10) and Ray Reynolds (January 11) add some much needed logic to the letters regarding Christianity.
Ray is right to say we should be wary of believing science fiction as fact.
May I suggest that any of your readers who have difficulty in accepting Christianity look into it deeply for themselves?
In the last century (and there have been countless others since) writer CS Lewis was an atheist for half his life.

He studied and was an expert on ancient myths, legends and languages.
He was trained to examine everything that he read to be sure that it was logical and verifiable.
His academic credentials cannot be questioned. He had a 'Triple First' at Oxford.
He was challenged by his fellow lecturers, including JRR Tolkien.
