Graffiti art to take centre stage at festival
ART ATTACK: Artistic students are brushing up on their graffiti skills to create a giant painting which will take centre stage at a festival.
Twenty teenagers on art and media courses at Stoke-on-Trent Sixth Form College are creating the 10ft piece for the forthcoming Creative Minds Festival at the Regent theatre.
Helen Morgan, course leader for creative media production and photography, said: "The festival is a brilliant forum for showcasing our young people's talents.
"Chris Guest, a community artist, is working with the students to create the giant canvasses over the next couple of days."
