Government offers older people no help
NO HELP: I am writing to say how disgusting it is that pensioners have to sell their properties when they go into residential homes.
The Government advises to save your money and get a works pension.
But they don't tell you that you will get no help until most of your hard-earned cash has all gone.

“People have worked all their lives and paid into the system £000's and when they need help they are penalised, how many immigrants and spongers are looked after better then folk who have paid all their lives. Al governments are rotten amd corrupt, MP's will retire on a very nice pension and lump sum.Paid for by us. Thank you suckers”

“i totally agree with this comment my Grandmother is in a home with alzeheimers and my mother and her sister have no choice but to sell her house, It's not anyone's fault for her having this disease but i feel very strongly that the goverment or somebody cant help people like this, to be able to afford to live there without them having to sell there properties etc, these people have worked there entire life and what have they gained. nothing.If another person had nothing to sell, what and who would pay for them then??, It would be good for my family and others in the same situation to get some financial help with issues like these.”
