Government lists assets for sale
THE Government has set up its own property website listing assets which it wants to dispose of.
The site allows users to search by postcode or town for state-owned properties and land it is putting on the market for sale or rent.
One entry is the Meir Health Centre on Saracen Way but the site has around 1,200 entries ranging from old hospitals, empty Army garrisons, disused ambulance stations and even a mortuary.
