SPEEDWAY: Stoke asset Tim Webster will race for Buxton next season after the Potters' National League rivals agreed a deal to take him on loan.

Webster had found himself surplus to requirements at Loomer Road for the 2012 season after the Potters drafted in Ashley Birks and Richie Worrall.

The 22-year-old said: "I realise it's all about fitting the averages together, so my main concern was not getting a team place elsewhere.

"I hope Stoke have a good season again, but I also hope my new club, Buxton, do too."
