BRITANNIA staff have been sorting thousands of photographs of Stoke City supporters ready to create a giant mural at the club's stadium.

Proud To Be A Potter is billed as a celebration of the long-lasting partnership between The Potters and the financial mutual.

Over the past six weeks, the Cheadle Road-based business has been encouraging fans to post photos on a new website.

The collection will be used to create a 15-metre high piece of "footballing art" on the front of the West Stand at the Britannia Stadium, in Stoke-on-Trent.

The artwork will be unveiled later this month.

Stoke City chief executive Tony Scholes said: "The Britannia Stadium itself is a prominent landmark and these images will certainly enhance that visual impact.

"Our supporters have been widely acclaimed for their level of vocal backing and this campaign provides them with a wonderful opportunity to show that support in a different way." For more information visit proudtobeapotter.com
