VISITORS to Longton's Queen's Park were treated to live music entertainment over the weekend.

Families were able to soak up the sun while listening to local musicians The Nanateas, Dirk Diggler's Blues Revue, Nemo, The Black Apples and Livid on Saturday afternoon.

The event, called Bottle Neck Blitz, was part of Stoke-on-Trent City Council's Easter celebrations.

Councillor Debra Gratton, portfolio holder for sport and leisure, said: "We are very proud to have such talented musicians in the city and they provided some fantastic entertainment for a fun day in the park."
