Friends raise £3k for charity
A GROUP of 17 colleagues have raised more than £3,000 to help find a cure for cancer.
The friends – who called themselves the Goodwin Girls after the engineering firm they work for – raised the cash after taking part in the Race for Life at Trentham Gardens on Tuesday.

The 57-year-old's husband Bob Newman, aged 60, is undergoing treatment for prostate cancer.
As is her brother-in-law Mark Nichols.
While her brother Neil Draisey is in remission from oral cancer.
Linda, of Sandyfield Road, Northwood, said: "We had a fabulous time running the race as a group.
"It was very important for us to do this because we have all been touched by cancer in some way, either through a family member of friend."
This is the first year that Linda has run the Race for Life.
She added: "Cancer is such a cruel disease and the more research we do, the better chance we have of finding a cure."
