Non-league football: United closing in on leaders
WOLSTANTON United kept up the pressure on Premier Division leaders Stretton Eagles with a 3-2 home victory over lowly Sandbach United.
Second-placed United raced into a decisive 3-0 lead courtesy of a Matthew Barlow brace and a single strike from Daniel Hancock.

They now trail Eagles by just one point at the top of the Premier Division, although the leaders have played two games less.
Third-placed Kidsgrove Athletic lost ground on the front runners after being held to a 4-4 draw at Manor Inne.
A Simon Minshull hat-trick gave the visitors a 4-1 lead, but goals from Jamie Durber, Dan Arrowsmith and Glen Ray salvaged a point for Inne.
Newcastle Town secured a 3-1 home success over bottom club Eccleshall AFC as Ryan Green helped himself to a brace.

Redgate Clayton's Staffordshire FA Vase second-round tie with Heath Hayes had to be abandoned with the score level at 1-1.
The game was halted when a Clayton player suffered a serious leg injury, breaking his fibula and tibiatibula.
Elsewhere, Foley progressed to the next round with a 4-1 win at rival Premier Division side Barlaston thanks to a Steve Day brace and further goals from Lee Shepherd and Shaun Lewis.
In another all-Premier Division clash, leaders Stretton Eagles booked their place in the third round of the Leek Cup by beating Abbey Hulton United 7-2.
In the President's Trophy, Northwood Town hammered home their numerical advantage by seeing off 10-man Barton United 3-0.
Their second-round success over their Division One rivals was achieved thanks to second-half goals from Matt Cockfield (2) and Dave Ottley.
