Uttoxeter Town A's search for a first win of the campaign continues after a 2-0 defeat by Fulford.
Goals from Andy Mason and Lee Plant sent Town to their eighth successive defeat to leave them six points adrift at the bottom.
The only Division Two match of the day rained goals, as a Nick Longdon hat-trick helped JCB Lakeside to move ahead of Ashbourne Youth after beating them 5-3.
Mark Oldham added the other two goals for JCB, while Sean Milward, Dan Bould and Steve Williams replied for the hosts.
Blacksmiths Arms were forced to battle hard before beating Fox's Uttoxeter, Division Three's bottom side, 1-0.
Steve Parker popped up with the decisive strike, which pushed his side into fourth place.
Three Tuns needed extra-time in their Division Two/Three Cup second-round tie against Cheadle Town End, before prevailing 4-2.
Adam Hodgkinson, Josh Ratcliffe, Lee Poxon and Barry Eagles scored for the victors, with David Elkin and Shaun Keates responding.
In the quarter-finals, Old Star reached the last four with a 6-3 victory over AFC Marchington.
Matt Ashby, with two, Tom Pritchard, Tom Gould, Scott Lowman and Ash Hudson were on target for Old Star.
AFC Marchington had efforts from James Morgan, Scott Mawer and an own goal to show for their efforts.
Division Two leaders Draycott Potter swept aside their Division Three counterparts Stone Town 3-0.
An own goal saw Tean Wanderers secure a 2-1 win against FC Fulford in the Ken Green Memorial Trophy second round.
Dan Myatt and Adam Austin had traded goals, before Wanderers benefited from a helping hand to progress.
