BUSINESSES are being urged to ensure continuity in the event of a swine flu pandemic.

Following the World Health Organisation's level five pandemic alert, a leaflet about the disease has been sent to every household in the country.

And Business Link West Midlands is now advising firms to ensure that all members of staff have received the advice.

The key prevention methods listed in the leaflet are: always carry tissues, use clean tissues to cover your mouth and nose when you sneeze, bin the tissues after one use and wash your hands with soap and hot water or a sanitiser gel frequently.
