Firms asked to help out Dougie Mac
BUSINESSES are being asked to donate excess stock to a hospice's charity shops.
The Douglas Macmillan Hospice teamed up with the North Staffordshire Chamber of Commerce for the Let's Do Business event earlier this month.
More than 600 of the region's business population attended the event at the Britannia Stadium.
The Douglas Macmillan Hospice, based in Blurton, was the charity chosen to benefit from the day.

Firms are now being asked to donate excess stock for sale in the charity's chain of shops and to collate employees' donations of unwanted items.
Fundraising co-ordinator at the hospice, Nicola Hancock, said: "It was a great event and a wonderful opportunity to network with local businesses in a fantastic venue."
