HUNDREDS of people are expected to attend a traditional village fete.

The annual Chestnut Queen Fete at Bagnall was listed in The Times weekend supplement as one of 20 "great fetes" in the UK.

It takes pace tomorrow from 1pm to 5pm. The Chestnut Queen ceremony will take place from 1pm to 2pm and will be followed by the fete, which will be opened by the new queen Megan Sargeant at 2pm.
