Festive help to raise funding
A CANCER charity is on the lookout for well-wishers to help its fund-raising drive over Christmas.
Marie Curie Cancer Care wants residents to help man cash collection points at supermarkets across the region.
Holly Smith, community fund-raiser, said: "We're really lucky in North Staffordshire that the supermarkets and shopping centres have been so generous in offering us dates to collect. We just want to make sure we make the most of this opportunity to raise much needed funds for cancer care."
The fund-raising drive will begin on November 2 and run through December.
