Fears for biker injured in Trent Vale crash
ONE of Stoke-on-Trent's busiest roads was closed off after a collision between a car and a motorbike.
Police, firefighters and paramedics were called to the crash in Newcastle Road, Trent Vale, at around 11am yesterday.

The collision happened near the Tesco store.
Firefighters from Newcastle were dispatched to the scene following reports the motorcyclist was trapped following the collision.

A Staffordshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said: "On arrival it was found there was nobody trapped.
"However we remained at the incident to ensure both vehicles were safe."
Police closed the road following the crash and redirected traffic.
One casualty, who has not been named, was taken to the University Hospital of North Staffordshire for further treatment.
