Fans urge solo star Robbie to carry on making his own music
Robbie Williams's fans urge him to carry on making his own music
Matthew Hill, aged 24, from Chesterton, said: "Robbie's pop career has gone a bit wrong and I think joining Take That again would put him back on the map. It wasn't a mistake trying to break America, he was at the top of his game."
Colin Booth, aged 46, from Meir, said: "On his own, Robbie is a better artist than Take That.
"I think it would be a mistake to rejoin the group. He should release his own album and carry on with his own music."
Sue Stanley, aged 39, from Madeley, said: "I'd rather he stayed in America and did his own music from there.
"He should also support local causes like Port Vale more."
Vanda McAll, aged 49, from Audley, said: "I love Robbie. I have all his albums but I don't think Take That need him. He may need them more though but if he brought out a new solo album I'd still buy it."
