TICKETS are selling out fast for one of the summer's biggest music festivals.

The V Festival takes place at Weston Park, in Stafford, on August 22 and 23.

Music lovers have been snapping up tickets since they went on sale on Friday and only a few remain.

Tickets to the Chelmsford part of the festival, in Hylands Park, sold out in under two hours, with only coach packages remaining.

Festival director Bob Angus said: "We're really pleased that despite these uncertain times V Festival has clearly been embraced once again by music fans looking for a great weekend of entertainment.

"It's a fantastic endorsement of the format of the festival and the strength of this year's bands set to perform."

Oasis and The Killers are headlining what will be the 14th year of the festival.
