Family upset after willow tree blown down
UPROOTED: A couple may need to change the name of their home after losing their beloved willow tree in the weekend's storms.
Jean and Derek Litherland, of Willow View, The Meadows, Endon, were shocked when high winds uprooted the 40ft tree on Sunday.
Fortunately nobody was hurt and no damage was caused to the couple's bungalow.
Jean, aged 77, said: "We saw the whole tree was coming down. It is upsetting. My grandson said we should change the name of the bungalow to 'The View' now."
