Family's heartache as brave Ruby Owen dies
The family of five-year-old cancer sufferer Ruby Owen announced their daughter had died on Monday afternoon.
The youngster was diagnosed with cancer in 2009 and fought a long battle against the disease, uncluding two trips to America for pioneering treatment.
A long fundraising campaign raised tens of thousands of pounds to try to help Ruby, who lived in Kidsgrove.
