BUSINESSES with limited experience in exporting can find out more about trading overseas at a support event.

Companies can access free help to sell their products or services abroad and meet staff from UK Trade & Investment (UKTI).

New Markets: New Horizons will be held on the afternoon of Friday, April 19 at Staffordshire University's Stafford campus, and on the morning of Friday, April 26 at Westwood Golf Club in Leek.

The events follow on from presentations held at Keele University earlier this month.

A spokesman for UKTI said: "These free events provide a real opportunity to see how businesses can benefit from exporting its goods and services to growing markets abroad.

"They are particularly aimed at businesses which have no or limited previous experience in exporting."

MPs Jeremy Lefroy and Karen Bradley will support the events in their constituencies.

As well as a presentation by UKTI, the event will include a question and answer session, table debate and networking opportunities.
