Ex-Signal Radio DJ Ray Teret arrested over rape claims
A FORMER Signal Radio DJ who was Jimmy Savile's flatmate and chauffeur has been arrested on suspicion of rape.
Ray Teret, who also made appearances at former Hanley nightclub The Place, was held by officers from Greater Manchester Police.

The 71-year-old was arrested in Altrincham, Cheshire, yesterday alongside a second man, aged 61, by detectives investigating three separate claims of sexual abuse.
Both the men were arrested on suspicion of rape.

But the force said the accusations are not linked to the national inquiry into abuse by disgraced TV presenter Savile.
Detective inspector Simon Davies said: "I want to make it absolutely clear that this is not an investigation into the late Jimmy Savile, nor do any of the allegations relate to any involvement by Savile."
