Etruria factory blaze was an accident
A DEVASTATING fire which broke out at a former factory was started accidently.
Crews spent the weekend at the former Twyfords factory in Etruria, where the fire started on Friday.

Staffordshire Fire Service said investigators found the cause of the blaze in Garner Street was accidental.
Officers hope that CCTV images and a smoke detector panel which has been salvaged from the scene will help to indicate exactly where the fire started.

The factory was home to a number of small businesses which have lost equipment and vital documents in the blaze.
At its peak, a series of explosions could be heard and embers from the blaze reached as far as Festival Park. Garner Street was also closed off for safety reasons.
