Andrea D'Arcy is the PR, campaigns and events co-ordinator for Staffordshire University Students' Union. The 26-year-old, from Friarswood Road, Newcastle, says her favourite place to eat is Hector Garcia's Latin American restaurant in Newcastle.

HECTOR Garcia's, which was formerly Pablo Franki's, is my favourite restaurant.

It's located on the High Street in Newcastle and as well as tapas and food from America, Mexico, Argentina and Brazil, it offers a great selection of cocktails.

I go in there at least every other week with my friends to enjoy a few drinks at the bar.

I like Caipirinhas, the national cocktail of Brazil, which is made from lime, sugar and rum.

My favourite dish is the Jambalaya with rice, chicken and prawns but the menu is really varied and reasonably priced.

I would describe the atmosphere there as really laid-back and funky.
