FORMER EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney has been accused of motoring offences on the M6 in Stoke-on-Trent.

Gaffney, who has also appeared on the ITV1 show I'm A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here, entered a not guilty plea by letter to motoring offences.

Gaffney, aged 30, of Bookham, Surrey, is charged with driving without due care and attention on the M6 between junctions 15 and 16 and a further matter of driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence.

Gaffney's solicitor, Nick Freeman, known among lawyers and celebrities as 'Mr Loophole', sent a letter to Stoke-on-Trent Magistrates' Court indicating a not guilty plea and the case was yesterday adjourned until April 1.
