Dy ing Jade shouldn't make herself into a spectacle
MAKING A SPECTACLE: In reply to the letter printed on Wednesday, February 25, from Miss Rowley, Newcastle, I thought it was rather a sweeping statement to say anyone who claims they would not do the same as Jade is a liar. I can tell Miss Rowley that under no circumstances would I do this and I am certainly no liar. I value my privacy too much to make a spectacle of myself.
I would not wish the misfortune of cancer on anyone but I cannot see what the attraction is on seeing Jade Goody, pictured, being followed around by the media all day. There are a lot of media stars who have got talent but they never make a spectacle of themselves. And anyway, Jade's two children still have a father who should be caring for them in the event of her death.

and if you were in her shoes
making a spectacle of yourself would be the last thing on your mind,as for privacy that would soon go out of the window when someone else is cleaning your backside.
let her live out the last few wks of her short life, as she wishes,if you dont like the spectacle dont buy a paper and turn your tv off”
